A few questions

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm most likely going to KI next Sunday with my dad and sister, and have a few questions. Thank you in advance to anyone who answers them, I appreciate it. biggrin.gif

-Is the regular one-day adult admission $38 or $50? Online it says $38 but I don't know if that's just if you buy the ticket online, because my mom has heard that a ticket is $50. If it is $38 online only, we will definitely buy it there, but I just need the confusion cleared up, hehe.

-Which rides usually have the longest waits (which one should I go on first)? I love roller coasters, and would love to go on Face/Off, FOF, The Beast, Vortex (I've been on this one before - it started my coaster craze!), IJ:ST etc.

-Since we're going on a Sunday in mid-August, will the crowds be heavy/moderate/light? I know it's impossible to predict, but an estimate would be nice. smile.gif

Thank you so much.

you should probably head for Top Gun or Delirium first, Delirium practically eats line of people, so its a short wait, and it'll get that thrill going to last you about a 20 minute line at Flight of Fear, its the greatest. GO GO GO! WOOT Kings Island

Go to eather Face/Off or Flight of Fear First.

Next go to Drop Zone & Delrium

Ride Top Gun , Racer , Vortex , Beast , Adventure Express when you have the time.

PKI.com has one day e-tickets at $34.99 and 2 day tickets are $50. Remember that e-tickets have to be purchased 3 days in advance. Have a great trip.

Face/Off, Drop Zone, Flight of Fear and Tomb Raider: The Ride get the longest waits. It depends on when you go though.

Thanks for the replies everyone smile.gif

We will probably go on Face/Off first since it's so close to the entrance. I've been to KI before but that was a few years ago when I was young and wasn't the thrillseeker I am now, so all the rides I'm going on now are new to me except Vortex (my first ever coaster that goes upside-down) The only other big ride there I've been on is SOB...which...well...hurt.

Hopefully it won't be too busy since it's Sunday and on the 20th of Aug. For the past few days the weather forecast was thunder storms but now it's changed to mostly cloudy/clear which is great. How crowded do you think it will be?

I do have one more quick question though -

I saw this coupon here and printed it off http://www2.paramountparks.com/kingsisland...coupon_bogo.cfm

I just wanted to make sure this coupon is valid and people have used this before? I guess I'm paranoid but I worry about things being frauds - the deal seems a little too good to be true, but hey, I'm not complaining cool.gif.

Thanks again...

Last minute tip...I hear the Son of Beast is kinda rough so you might want to stya way from that one.

Well it depends on whether or not your going on the weekend or a weekday for the crowded part. It will be more cwoded on the weekends though. You aalso must ride The Beast and Vortex while you're there. Their two of the best rides there. biggrin.gif

Thanks again everyone. smile.gif You all have been so helpful.

(and yes I'm aware of SOB's status)

One last question...Aug. 20 is not a bring a friend free day is it? How do I know which days are (will it say it on pki.com calendar)?
