Gold Pass Bring a Friend free day

Featured Replies

OMG, i can't beleive i didn't see this on the website before when i was planing my vacation... but please tell me it's not going really busy. We are going to be going that day from 9am till about 3pm then leaving checking in then coming back to the park to watch fire works later and then we will be there all day tuesday till we are ready to drive home.

BAFFD's can be very busy. It all depends on how many Gold Pass holders will be bringing a friend for free. But I'd have a feeling that the park will be pretty busy. Anyone else who has been to a BAFFD can you tell how bad it is. The very first one they had was horrible a few years back.

OH that is so what i was worried about sad.gif

So what would be our best bet for things to do that day... kids rides? water park? small attractions then try to get the costers in the second day???

I went to BAFFD once...and only once...it was a nightmare...you couldn't avoid the crowds anywhere...good luck.

At least they're doing this on a Monday - while a little busier than a Tuesday or Wednesday. Some years they've doe this on a weekend day in summer, when it got chaotic. You never know how it will really be, it could actually be a rainy/stormy day, driving a lot of people away.

Yeah that fact that are having it on a Monday other than another busier day of the week. It may not be too bad though. It may be like a Saturday crowd insteaed of a typical Monday. But as what has already been sayed alot of factors can play into what crowds will be like. Rain can turn alot of people away. Like I said before too, it all depends on how many people will be bringing friends for free that day.

one the site it says bring 1 friend free was it more friend before??? Maybe that will make a diferance?

No, it has always bring one friend per season pass. Always has been. But when you have as many passholders as PKI does, all those free tickets add up rather quickly. The goal of the bring a friend free day is to get pass holders and others in the park so that they will spend money, increasing the per capita spending.

It's 1 friend per passholder, meaning if you bought a 4-pack of passes for your family, and they each went, 4 other people could get in the gate with them.

CoastersRZ beat me to it.

I am a passholder and I try to stay as far away from the park as I can that day! We went one time when it was on a Friday and the morning wasn't bad but around 3:00 you couldn't move it was so packed.

When is this Bring a Friend Free day? It sucks when the park does those days on a Saturday. What was even worse was closing weekend last year when they had "bring unlimited friends free day".
