Does anybody know if TR:TR opens at 10am like the rest of the park or do they delay openning. Also if they delay openning, what tme do they usally open.

Tomb Raider opens at 10 AM just like all of the other rides, with a few exceptions (WWC comes to mind).

White Water Canyon depending on staffing, tends to open up around 12. The Paramount Action FX Theater has been known to open at 12 during pre and post season as well.

Action Theater always opened at 10am when I worked at PKI. But in 2000 they used to shut us down alot when staffing was a problem. They didn't do this as much in 2001 since we had the 7th Portal playing. (Considered a new ride). But we did at times shut down side "B" that was playing Smash Factory.

SOB doesn't open at 10 either. It didn't even open at noon last time I was there. (Which was July 7th.)

A lot of it depends on when maintenance releases the ride.

Under normal circumstances (no maintenance issues, etc.):

The Train and Boomerang Bay open at 11 AM.

Whitewater Canyon and Congo Falls open at 12 PM (except on Saturdays, when they open at 10).

Eurobungie opens at 12:30.

Action Theater switches from side A (Spongebob) to side B (Hanna-Barbera) at 3:30.

Why is it that the F/X theatre only shows one film at a time? I assumed it was a power consumption thing, but they've been open together in the past, haven't they? My mom adores the Spongebob show, but that means we have to get up at one or two--practically dawn!

It is staffing. Back during Fearfest they ran both sides at the same time. They also got alot of staffing from other rides. I was down there enough - that I got signed off to drive the ride.

Yes it has to do with Staffing. We got shut down once on Labor day in 2000, so our crew of 4 could staff HB.

Heh. I guess that does sound kinda silly, when I think about it.

I really wish they'd flip the schedule, though. *sigh*
