I have decided to take my son on Easter Sunday. I really hope the park is nice and quiet and the weather is nice and warm. I am going to try not to tell him at all and just wait and see his face when we get there. I am really bad at that, but I am gonna try really hard.

Those kinds of things are really fun. My mom used to do things like that when I was young. She called them Mystery Rides. She would travel there going the long way keeping me guessing where we were going. You could try that.

How old is he?

Will he know the route traveled? Now that I think back, I probably ruined more for my parents than I did myself when I did it, but I could tell where we were going based on the geography. If he is old enough to identify the area, take a different route.

He is only 6 and I doubt he knows the way. He may catch on when coming up on 71 by the Beach though. I am doing very well, keeping the secret. I typed a letter with directions to the surprise that will be in his basket on Sunday morning. I can't wait!!
