April 9, 200620 yr I have decided to take my son on Easter Sunday. I really hope the park is nice and quiet and the weather is nice and warm. I am going to try not to tell him at all and just wait and see his face when we get there. I am really bad at that, but I am gonna try really hard.
April 9, 200620 yr Those kinds of things are really fun. My mom used to do things like that when I was young. She called them Mystery Rides. She would travel there going the long way keeping me guessing where we were going. You could try that.
April 11, 200620 yr I bit his face is going to just light up ohiomom28 . My parents did that to me when I was around 4 to 10. I would get so happy! I to hope the weather stays clear and sunny for Sunday. I was told that morning at the last moment . Hope to see you there!
April 11, 200620 yr How old is he? Will he know the route traveled? Now that I think back, I probably ruined more for my parents than I did myself when I did it, but I could tell where we were going based on the geography. If he is old enough to identify the area, take a different route. That is if you can keep it a secret that long... Have fun, ill be there too.

April 11, 200620 yr I am planning to be there all four days. I hope the weather will be okay. I would hate to drive 4 hours and sit in a hotel room and watch tv. Tom
April 13, 200620 yr Author He is only 6 and I doubt he knows the way. He may catch on when coming up on 71 by the Beach though. I am doing very well, keeping the secret. I typed a letter with directions to the surprise that will be in his basket on Sunday morning. I can't wait!!
April 13, 200620 yr Wait, if it's a surprise and a secret, then why are you spoiling it by posting it all over a public forum? Oooh, BURN!
April 13, 200620 yr Author Because it's a secret and a surprise for him and he can't read all these big words.
