As anyone who went to the tour knows, the slime tower in NC is now gone. This was, in my opinion, the main feature of Nickelodeon Central. Feel free to discuss any memories of that slime tower that you have here.

I remember it's first step, first water shoot, the joy it brought to kids. Oh Nick Tower, wherever you are now, keep those joys alive.

I remember my grandfather was standing unde rit just looking up at it and was like "What is this thing?" Thenn all of sudden the bell rang and "BOOM!!!" all over him went the slime. R.I.P Slime Tower!

Remember when they would actually play the sound effects when it was gonna blow. It was actually pretty neat just to watch.

That thing shot up so high. I remember when i was working over in HB one time, I sat there and waited for it to spray forever. I couldn't remember ever seeing it shoot, just teasing.

No. It becomes SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom Bash.

All the rides are getting new names that could be better. Dick Dastarrly or whatevere is turning into Blue's Skidoo, Atom Ant's Airways into Timmy's Airways, and so on.

WHen was the last time our tower actually shot slime instead of water? Slime has almost been abonded on Nickelodeon.

I dont think it ever did. Just water and the ground made it look like slime.

What company orginally built the slime zone play area. Also is the tower beinhg replace by Spongebobs Cocanut House?

It's very likely that it will just be scrapped. But keep your eyes peeled, you may see it as a door prize at a future event!!

That tower had a lot more too it than you guys thing. It was a strange coordination of the sound (rumbling) the pressure guage, as well as the final spray. Apparently it was a big project to keep it maintained, which is why it didn't work in the end.
