Bring-A-Friends Free, Sunday

Featured Replies

Hello,

This sunday is bring-a-friend free day, how crowded do you think it will be considering its 1) bring a friend free day and 2) being mothers day.

Is it worth the risk?

-rctfreak-

Mothers day or not, it will be crowded beyond your wildest dreams. If you go, write a trip report!

Expect long lines on Mother`s day. I was there in 2001 when it was also a bring a friend free day. I got to the park at ten. I left by 11:30 because of the unbarable lines.

It's crazy on bring a friend free day..everywhere you go. That was the day I went to the water park and literally couldn't swim in the wave pool the most i could do was stand there.

The very first time they had a BAFF day, it was mothers day a couple years ago. The park was dead and I was shocked! I guess alot of people just didnt know about the promotion.

Silly me, fast forward the next year, same day (mothers day) same BAFF promotion. I thought the park was going to be dead again (mothers day). WRONG! The park PACKED!!!!!!

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend. I think it safe to say that the place will be nuts!!

I will still be there on Sunday, with my free guest (my 6 year old).

Ever Onward,

Bill

Nope not me, those are one of the days were you couldnt pay me enough to go to the park dont get me wrong I love the park always have I just think the park will be Koo-Koo  on day like that I mean People are getting in Free

Sounds great but the park always seems to be jam packed.

BAFFDs are usually busy... very, very, busy. We had to put signs up on 71 that said something like "For your convience please visit the park another day." We also had to have the State Troopers, Mason and the Sherif help direct traffic as far down as 63 (way, way, down the from the park on 741).

The parking was very, very bad... every parking spot was taken and all the grass areas were filled... people were parking at the cinemas and the gas station across the street and walking over.

Lines can get to be about 4 hours long. No kidding. Most people only ride one or two rides all day.

After reading what DragonLord said, will the park close the gates if there are too many people in the park? And how many people would that be?

I agree with everyone. I went one year and will never go to another BAFFD again. It was crazy!Unless your going to go sight seeing(witch will still be hard with all the people in your way and I highly doubt anyone goes to sight see-I know i don't-) Don't go!

Wait for another day to got to the park when you can enjoy the rides.

I was gonna go sporting my new PKIC shirt that came out really great! Cafepress has really improved the quality of there products this year.

But still, avoid BAFFD unless you like standing in line for everything.
