^ Wha? Chick-Fil-a was new last year and always packed I agree it is shocking why cant they leave the good stuff alone?

Chik-Fil-A gone after just one season. I`m guessing this was a decision by the franchise/company and not a PKI decision. That place, as mentioned above, seemed to always be busy when it was open.

picture number 2 on the PKI WEBSITE you can see chick-filet. IF YOU CLICK ON THE THUMBNAIL. that or it is in the process of getting torn down, that or maybe its moving huh.gif

Good point because that is the idea behind it. I wonder if with the new ownership change how this will effect the completion of NU and following through on their claims.

Right behind Chic-Fil-A is Oscars where associates eat.. I know that Oscars is getting revamped and theyr redoing the inside at least. But that building is connected to Chic-Fil-A and I think that would be to much to deal with to tear all of it down and rebuild it. From what I heard Chic-Fil-A made good money.

If anything they would just be making revisions to the building. But I dont think the franchise will be leaving..

I thought the Backyardigans were overtaking the Swingset, hence why it would be called the Backyardigans Swing-A-Long.

Nah, the building's probably being torn down and they might be making a new one to put Chick-Fil-A in. Either that or they'll revamp the building because, right now, it resembles too much of Magilla Gorilla's Grill from the past.

I would be suprised if Chick Fil A came back. The people who own it are Mormons and that is why most of them are not open Sunday. I hear that the Chick Fil A HQ was not at all happy about the PKI one being open Sundays. If it is a yearly contract - they probably won't be back.

This kind of a dumb thought but do think that they possibly might not have it open before opening day.

LOL!

The folk that run Chick Fil A are not Mormon!

The family is big time Southern Baptist as are many in Atlanta. (Chick Fil-A started in Georgia, ya know!)

Truett Cathy, wanted to ensure that every Chick-fil-A employee and restaurant operator had an opportunity to worship, spend time with family and friends or just plain rest from the work week. That is why they close on Sunday.

The company is based upon Christian principals. Their basis is written as follows: statement of corporate purpose says that we exist "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A."

I think it's great that they are closed on Sundays.......It's a great testimony on what is inportant in life.

I don't think they were...I went on one Sunday early in the season and they had signs up explaining why they were closed...

...and it was for the exact reasons stated above: To give employees a chance to rest and worship.

I think it's great that they are closed on Sundays.......It's a great testimony on what is inportant in life.

Being closed on Sunday's is important in life?

Please explain this to me.

The PKI Chick-Fil-A was NOT open on Sunday.

Nor was the one at PKD.

Nor was the one at PCWi, which opened the year before the other two already mentioned here.

As previously stated by another poster, NO Chick-Fil-A anywhere in the world is open on ANY Sunday. PERIOD. Malls that won't accept this provision in a Chick-Fil-A lease get no tenant called Chick-Fil-A. Same thing for parks.

If Six Flags gets Chick-Fil-A (and they are trying to, along with Papa John's and/or Pizza Hut) then Chick-Fil-A at Six Flags will also be closed Sundays.

And that's the way it is.

I've never understood why a mall would agree to have a store or restaurant that was closed on a normal operating day. Just my opinion.

And it is dependant on how the mall writes the lease for the store space. Many malls write directly into the lease the hours that a store or restaurant must be open.

And here is the sad thing 99.9 % of Chic-Fil-A's do 20 % or more in sales than any fast food chain store will do in 7 days they do it in 6.....

Why is this? Because they run their buisness on biblical principals...

I have personal expierience I worked for them for about a year and half loved working there......it's a great first job for any teen great atmosphere....

.....Well, all this talk is fun and all, but there is still one question left to be answered.

"...Guests enter the adventures of Bikini Bottom through a pineapple under the sea to experience SpongeBob SquarePants’ underwater world."

Are we still getting this SpongeBob attraction? And if so, is this attraction the Crash Course Boating School ride, or something completely different?

References please.

Making a good product and marketing it correctly has very little to do with Biblical Principals.

RingMaster. To my knowledge, PKI is still getting this Spongebob attraction. Take notice of the underwater world portion of your statement. That combined with pictures that PKI has posted on their website should give you a clue as to what this "new" Spongebob attraction will be.

Yeah you are right about that they do have a great product but the being closed on sundays reverts back to the bible. Also there buisness model is all about biblical principals...

You can have a good produst and still not be successful....... it is possible...

From the Photos I would agree with kjkjkj. Splat Zone will receive a Pineapple entrance with some general extra theming, outdoors. Also, it seems that alot of the earlier talk that the Nick Theater - Greet Area would be removed may not happen this year since they didn't take the bulldozer to it.

Seriously, why do you people even give a crap if theyre closed on sundays? Last time I checked, everyone in this country has a right to their religous beliefs and If Chick Fil A's higher ups want to respect their beliefs in christianity and the idea of rest on the "7th" day, so let them. Theyre obviously still making money. Im no strong christian, nor do I really put firm belief in any Religion, but if someone wants to close their business because they whole heartedly believe in their religous beleifs, I dont care, its THEIR business, and obviously no customers are really offended because they still generate business.

And how do you know there still not going to take the bulldozer to it or add more than just basic theming to splat zone? For all you know, they might be working on it right now. No one knows all the exact details, just speculation and rumor spreading.
