I've been watching the forums for a few days now and it seems like we finally passed the 100,000 post milestone. I just wanted to thank everyone who comes on here every day and shares their thoughts and opinions and makes this site so successful!

100,000 POSTS!!! Geez, I bet when you began this site you had no idea how successfully it would become. Just goes to show you have been working hard on the site. congrats and keep up the great work.

I have been a member of PKIC since almost day one. I have watched it grow and compete with EPKI and PKIU. PKIC took on the challege and defeted them both. While PKIU more or less gave up EPKI has no way near what this site has acheived. CONGRATS staff and keep up the great work. Not many sites have that many post.

PKIC has changed my life to, especially all the pics and vids that people have contributed. I also remember the long discussions about the flyers to. LOL

Do you think we will make it to 1,000,000.

If we keep growing at the rate in which we are, I'd say we'd hit a million in about 5 years.

As a fan of PKI, I'd like to thank the staff of PKICentral for providing this AWESOME and FREE service to all of us PKI enthusiasts.

I no this is kinda in the wrong topic but are we ever going to but the days till PKI opens on the front cover ?

Congratulations! PKIC is very professionally maintained, and you guys do a great job of somehow keeping the PKI "feel" going during the off-season.

I signed up about a week before PKIC bought PKIU. I remember they mentioned on PKIU that PKIC might be merging with it - and I had never heard of PKIC before! But I came over here, then they merged, so I went from like 0 to 500 posts instantly. So I was one of the last members to register before the merger.

Hard to believe that that was a year ago - and there were only like 1200 members - now near 2000! The site has grown alot since then!

As far as one million posts go - you have to keep in mind that you aren't going to see a constant growth rate. It is going to gradually taper off to a slow but steady registration rate. That is just the nature of forums like this. Most of the people who like PKI and like it enough to register - already have. So I would say about 9 years for one million posts. Keep in mind it took 2-2.5 years to rack up 100k. We have another 900k to go - thats not going to happen in 5 years.

It's a matter of getting the word out. Also you have to bear in mind that our first year we didn't have more than 300 or so members plus we were competing with PKIU at the time.

Well I love going on the forums and what not but I don't even visit the home page because they don't update or add content all that much. I know its hard to add content in the off season but it still can be done.

For most of you, the front page doesn't really do too much. It's more or less an introduction to new visitors. The only thing that's goign to dynamically change on it is the front page article, which is the same one that we post in PKIC News, and the front page image whenever we can talk Dane into changing it. LoL We get a lot of people on here who honestly need help planning their trips to PKI, so about 40% of the site is the little stuff that you guys don't need to worry about. The other 60% is things like new, events, updates, etc that would interest you guys.
