January 16, 200620 yr Awesome! what kind of camera was used to film those, decent quality but was it a regular digital still camera you used?
January 16, 200620 yr You also need divx to view the videos on my site - including the award winning Vortex ultimate video. Are you Ready to Go?
January 16, 200620 yr Well saying that we are all PKI fans and most all of us have been on these rides, its nothing new to me, been on them.
January 16, 200620 yr How convenient there isnt video of where the cameras/ operators can see. Well, in The Vortex one the on ride pic may have taken the pic of him with the cam. lol.
January 16, 200620 yr what are you using to host those videos? Ive been looking for a site that would let me host rather large videos for a trailer of a movie im making and a short documentary.
January 16, 200620 yr Author I wouldn't know about the videos because I didnt make them I just found them on the internet.
January 16, 200620 yr I wonder how they got the camera past the lap bar monkeys. It's pretty easy on The Vortex. Snap.
January 17, 200620 yr I lost you right after my last post... Apparently the jokes on me - I dunno - but nobody even saw the intended joke! "Lap Bar Monkeys"
January 17, 200620 yr I lost you right after my last post... Apparently the jokes on me - I dunno - but nobody even saw the intended joke! "Lap Bar Monkeys" LoL... just Bar Monkeys for short. Just in case anyone new is reading this thread, I just want to point out that video taping or taking pictures while riding is illegal and you can be subject to ejection from the park or even criminal prosecution, so don't do it.
January 17, 200620 yr Ohio Revised Code 1711.551 states that failure to obey all instructions and directives given to you by the park (rules written and unwritten, and ride op instructions) is a misdemeanor and as such will result in serious pwnage.
February 23, 200620 yr you could host them on google video - http://video.google.com. free and unlimited isn't it entirely possible to (just theoretically speaking here, just get the park's permission to tape, easier and legal) put the camera into a jacket pocket and take it out on the ride? I've been called by friends while riding Vortex, and I just picked it up. Phone was tied to my wrist, so no risk of it flying off. It's a great answer when they ask where you are - in the middle of a loop
February 23, 200620 yr Author IF you could hear on a cell phone I would understand. In my younger days I was taking on ride and i dropped the camera in the corkscrews on The Vortex. Lucky me I had the camera tied off.
