Welcome to the 2005 version of the Best Year Ever. This year has been crazy from the start, We have had the announcement for the Great Wolf Lodge, The long awaited Winterfest, And the ever expanding universe of Nickelodeon. We won for the FIFTH year in a row the Golden Ticket Award for Best Kid's Area in the world! We drove passed gunfire on IJ (Not real gunfire, that would be crazy). Fearfest scared the willies out of us, and Winterfest lit up our tower!

So many happenings this year at the best park ever gave us new reasons to support our saying that Paramount's Kings Island had the Best Year Ever!!!

Unlike 2004's Best Year Ever Poll's, this year I will be doing something a little different. No, there will not be poll after poll this year, only one topic will do. This year will be more of an individual poll. You may choose anything from rides, areas, people, fests... anything that happened this year. But remember, It must be from this year. In the end there will be no official winner. Yes, this year's edition of BYE is more fair, but more harder, you have many choices to pick from but can only pick one. Take your time to think.

Im gonna say 1 great thing, and 1 bad thing about this year. GOOD: is the staff, and winterfest. BAD: delerium sucks this year!

Well a lot of the problems with Delirium were out of the parks control. (You can`t really control how long it takes the manufacturer to fix a part that unexpectedly broke.)

Son of Beast closing early.

(BAD) Vortex with only two trains.

(GOOD) Festhaus had the circus of horrors 3-D haunted house.

TopGun1993, Vortex always has two trains in most of October. It has for the last four or so years. Same with Adventure Express. It is only more noticable whent he park is really crowded with people from FearFest.

I usual go in October.

Good: A new coaster

Bad: No Son of Beast tunnels.
