Best Employees

Now It would be very easy to just vote for your own area of the park, but I encourage you to vote for another area other than your own unless you just know your area is the best?? cowboy.gif

You left out those lovable characters in construction, maintenance, and engineering.

I love The Beast and I think that crew makes it so much fun, especially at the end of the night. I also think the new crew for IJ did a good job of presenting the new ride even though the ride itself wasnt perfect. Clearly they had to do some pretty major explaining to guests for all the times it was broken down.

boomerang bay, DEFINETLY

we are the best guards in the entire country, meaning, we must be doing something right. biggrin.gif

Action Zone got my vote for the simple fact that this year, the only employees that stood out as being very friendly were the guys running Slingshot.

I think most of the time all of the employees are pretty friendly. I have never come across a rude employee...just some bored ones...which I can understand.

My vote goes to the forgotten ones who have slaved outside in the boiling heat and sunlight, just to give the guests the time of their lives on some amazing thrill rides! Gotta love the AZ ride ops!

Im pretty sure that would go for almost all ride ops.

Rivertown, those Beast employees.......darn good.

I can't think why you would say that rolleyes.gif .

I would vote Rivertown, but I worked at RT so that would be very narrow minded for me to do so... My vote is for the security!!! They do an awsome job keeping PKI a fun safe place.

I am going with the office people/higher ups. It is because of them that everything is so well managed and streamlined - and that the park can be run as well as it is. I mean - you can't write its excellent operation to a bunch of teenagers who happen to be genetically equipped with the knowledge to run a theme park. laugh.gif It is the managers and office staff that keep the park well staffed and keep all the operations going smoothly.

Also Communications is a vital and totally unrealized (by the general public) portion of park operations.

As far as ride operators go - I think every area has its good and bad people. But overall I would say the best areas are Coney and Rivertown. The HB people seem kind of stressed out, at least whenever I am there... As far as Action Zone goes - the only people I have ever seen smiling and acting like they enjoy their job are some people on the FACE/OFF crew. I have to say that I hate working the ride - but the crew itself and the guests there make it good.

It seems like in Coney Mall and Rivertown, the associates really enjoy their rides. They may not be record holders, except Beast, but they are classics and loved by millions. You wouldn't believe how many people have Shake, Rattle and Roll as their favorite ride... And I think the majority of the associates like to have fun with the guests and have fun working and guest relating.

I know you're not supposed to vote for your own department, but I had to represent for food service. Thanks to all my associates, crew leaders, and sups, who gave it there all this season. Btw...Klockster, where does the well staffed part come in? We were hardly even ever had mediocre staffing, let alone were we ever well staffed. I think I need to switch departments, lol, j/k.

I say Action Zone, they have a diverse selection of rides, and in my opinion, it is really the rides department that the rest lay on, without rides, PKI is nothing!!

Tram drivers!! They're like bar tenders... they're always looking for conversation.

That doesnt make them the hardest working does it? they sit on their butts all day, and sure it might be tiring driving for a whole day... hmm... 10AM - 12AM or later... wow...

^Actually the people who drive the trams do A LOT more than just drive the trams, they work tolls, admissions, take care of the parking lot, traffic management, and sometimes have to help security take care of snobby guests who think they know everything.

If your referring to me... No I dont take care of snobby employees who think they know everything. That's Klocksters job. Not all of us are like the Dippin Dots guy.

Rivertown, those Beast employees.......darn good.

You are 100% right laugh.gif. All of you guys are #1 in my book.
