Hi,

New member to the board, but long time PKI fan.

I read somewhere that a ride from the defunct Chester Park Amusement Park made it's way to Kings Island and as of 1988 was still going.

I am looking for more information as to the name of the ride and present condition: Still functioning or retired.

If anybody has some information on this or a link to more information, please let me know!

Maybe it was the Zodiac, the large double wheel? it was removed in 1989/1990

No, I highly doubt any rides from Chester Park ever operated at Kings Island. Chester Park closed in 1935, and the last of its rides closed in 1941. You can find out more about the park, along with some images of it here.

It is possible that some ride along the line went to Coney then to PKI.

Yes, it is. But of the rides that have been at PKI (in the last ten years) that were relocated from Coney do not date back that far. The Carousel is the oldest ride in the park and that dates to 1926. Now, I know that Fantasy Farm, which used to be up by Lesourdsville Lake, closed in 1991. Coney Island bought there Tilt-A-Whirl and Skyfighters ride. Of which, the latter one no longer exists at Coney anymore.
