October 12, 200520 yr On the first fearfest ad that loads in the flash movie on pki.com, near the end some music is playing in the background. Sounds familiar...almost like, *gasp* Tomb Raider. Caught red-handed! I love that little tune. Woah, update. Looks like they've slightly updated the Rides/Attraction pages on the site.
October 12, 200520 yr Yes, it seems they have a lot of new images on the attractions page, which is good. However, a lot of the images are not from PKI. The image for Face Off is Invertigo at PGA. Also, the image for The Beast is of one of the other junior woodies at another Paramount Park. Also, in the Yogi`s Sky Tour ride, you can clearly see Carawinds` observation tower.
October 12, 200520 yr My Word you're Right... also check out the statistics page for Flight of Fear... 4 trains, six cars, seating 4 per train? there are 5 cars to a train, 4 people per car, 2 trains useable with one spare train if needed, Maz capacity for an entire cycle is 40 - 60 people... not 16... LOL
October 12, 200520 yr Author ...and on the Railroad's description, it says: Families love riding in this steam locomotive that travels through the woods and takes riders to WaterWorks and back to the Losantiville Station.
October 12, 200520 yr I was laughing so hard when I heard that Zombie telling the kid to "stop it, stop it".
October 12, 200520 yr Yup, they use Tomb Raider: The Ride music in the commercial. I wasn't paying attention, but I heard that and was like WTF! WaterWorks eh? Whoops!
October 12, 200520 yr The part in the ad is actually the tune from the icefield to the lava pit. (DSM-11)
October 12, 200520 yr Author Very nice I havent been on PKI.con since *gasp* March! The off-season is upon us.
October 12, 200520 yr speaking of fearfest ads... I saw the dumbast ad ever, they need help "Scariest thing since report cards" or something lame like that.
October 12, 200520 yr That is not one of the park`s better catch phrases. Gotta love the where`s Timmy line from the commercial though. I believe most of PKI`s commercials are produced by a seperate company not affiliated with Paramount Parks. With the exception of some corporate commercials (like what they were filming for in September).
