July 26, 200521 yr According to COPPA you must be 13 years or older. You may join if you are under 13, but you must have your parents submit a COPPA release form to the administrators of the site. COPPA I believe is Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
July 26, 200521 yr 13 years of age. nothing more simple than that. How are sites rated? Like movies are rated for content. What ways are sites rated?
July 26, 200521 yr There is no rating for web sites. The only major rule about websites is COPPA. COPPA states that no child 12 or younger can submit anything over the Internet without a parents written permission. We simply just don' tallow any children 12 or younger on the forums because COPPA is alot of work, and there spelling and grammar isn't up to par yet.
July 26, 200521 yr Author I am asking this question because my friend wants to become a PKIcentral member and he is only 12. I will tell him he is to young just one more year.
July 27, 200521 yr It's just honesty really. If the person says they're at least 13, then the site admin can't get yelled at for collecting their personal info if they're not 13 yet (legal stuff).
