Who Attended the WinterFest Annoucement?

Featured Replies

I was just curious how many members of the PKIC community attended the WinterFest annoucement today? I was there and I thought once again very nicely done, especially with the snow, Santa Clause, and of course Christmas Carols. Although Jeff seemed to be a little more focused on FearFest tongue.gif during parts of the presentation.

With the Heat and Humidity I am ready for FearFest and WinterFest to get here.

I thought it was very nicely done too. I like how the conference was open to anyone who wanted to come. Most of the time the general public doesn't get invited to these press conferences.

What was Jeff saying about Winter Fest? They picked what probably will be the hottest day of the summer to announce a winter event, I think that is funny..

Actually, it's supposed to be 97 tomorrow. It only hit 96 today.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the hottest day on record in Cincinnati was July 21st, 1934 when it got up to 108!

^ Yeah TOPGUN probably with the heat index it was felt that hot. I know it Dayton it was about 94 and it felt like 105 with the heat index.

And the fact that season pass sales start soon probably also had a lot to do with it. Now, the question that remains is what are they doing for the 2006 season. I would imagine there could be an anouncement in August about `06 to further drive season pass sales.

They announced it today becuase its July 25th. Christmas in July. Get it?

I know I was just saying that it was so hot today and how the event will be for winter.
