April 13, 200521 yr In his first video submitted to PKICentral.com. f5rollercoasters surprised us all by creating his video From Blueprints to Reality. Using video, and photos taken by himself and ourselves, he created this awesome video showcasing the Italian Job Stunt Track from beginning to testing. This is a must download. Video Showcase
April 13, 200521 yr I really wanted to do this since January but not enough pics and videos were relesed so I waited. A week ago I decided that there was enough to make a video and I started. Hope you like it, I work hard to make it the best it could be. Enjoy!
April 13, 200521 yr ::critic steps in:: Ok, I cant say too much, since i use more pictures for my vidoes than anything else. complaints: #1: Augest? #2: it was a tad blurry in portions. #3: Color Schemes... Now I commend you on this, the promo video was perfect where it was, and I Loved the Eagles Intermission. Kudos. I do wish there was more on the actual testing portion, Im Dying here! More pictures, something!! ha ha Good Job f5, keep up the good work. ::bows::
April 13, 200521 yr The testing wasn't all that great - but then again I only got to see it test with effects once.
April 13, 200521 yr Nice video! I like how you pieced together the testing video as if it were the same train. You should have included a shot of the train bursting out of the billboard as the final scene. What editing software to you use to create the video? All in all a very nice job!
April 13, 200521 yr I been asked by many what I edited the video with and many were suprised when I said Windows Movie Maker.
April 13, 200521 yr Again, nice work. I have uesed iMovie on my Mac exstensively. I have also used anothe editing program on the computers in the DAAP computer lab for a major video project spring quarter last year, but I can`t for the life of me remember it right now! That is bugging me too!
April 13, 200521 yr Thank you, it was Final Cut Pro! I knew the title related to the function of the program, but could not think of it for the life of me.
April 14, 200521 yr Did anyone else notice at the beggining on how he used audio clips from the original Italian Job movie!? I thought that was a great idea......way to go F5!!!
April 14, 200521 yr Yeah - Final Cut Pro is kind of what iMovie is based on. They are both made by Apple. Final Cut Pro and Avid Cinema are the two major video editing programs (semi-professional).
April 14, 200521 yr I'm gonna be honest here that video was kinda of poopy it really didnt keep my intrest at all.
April 14, 200521 yr Did anyone else notice at the beggining on how he used audio clips from the original Italian Job movie!? I thought that was a great idea......way to go F5!!! Thanks. I'm thinking at the moment of topics I could do if I make another video.
April 14, 200521 yr Yeah that Self Preservation Society music was cool in it. Though I am not all that big into slideshows...
April 15, 200521 yr F5, must say that that was an awsome movie. Have you thought about seeing if KI would use it??? I didnt see nothing wrong w /it all. I want to do the same thing for FOF, and a few other rides, but I cant edit movies, not like you did anyway. That must have took a lot of work. KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!
