If you could have a sleepover at KI

Featured Replies

imagine this, Tony c gives you the keys to the kingdom, and says, “If you could have a sleepover anywhere in KI, where you guys doing this?”

What would you do?

Now this would be a sleepover, I’m talking sleeping bags, casting YouTube onto the tv, snacks. You get to bring your friends. In the morning the KI executive chef has a bountiful meal prepared for you.

I would probably sleep somewhere along the second story of I street, maybe convert it into like a little pent house studio apartment? Imagine there’s like a little door that leads to an elevator, and then you go up and there’s a Murphy bed and bean bags and a fridge. Maybe some sort of musical instruments to do bits with at 4 am? A parlor couch, a table with mail on top of it. Blackout curtains so we can sleep til like 2 pm.

what about you?

Both KI and CP have had sleepovers in the park after hours before with proceeds benefiting charity - KI in 2019 and CP in 2021

I'd sleep in the former Son of Beast station, there's nothing in there so you could really make that place your own. I also thought of bringing a tent and sleeping in the woods where The Beast is.

I’d love to tie a hammock between 2 supports on The Beast.  Perhaps near the bottom of the double helix.

Imagine having a lovely nights sleep, then waking up to the roar and shake of the first train of the morning!

Well that would be a safety violation on the maintineance crew as they can't cycle the train if there's someone in the ride area lol

I did it at KI! It was as surreal as you can imagine setting up a tent as the park closed, riding beast late at night, going to bed to the sounds of the park after close, and then waking up in an amusement park in the morning.

Imagine sleeping in a beach house esque bungalow in Soak City? I’m thinking something like this:

People are like “Oh, who’s that? Why is there a house there?”

And then it’s like “Oh that? That’s Steve’s. Yeah he lives in Soak City, he’s been here since the park opened actually. Dude can totally crush some wings from the island smokehouse. You can usually catch him soaking in the rays on the shores of Breakers Bay, Masons own ocean, or just vibing out on the Splash River letting the tide take him where he needs to go.”

I wish they'd bring back Coaster Campout. I wanted to do it but life was pretty hectic during that time.

Fun fact.... Above the Rivertown Larosa's was/is a full 1970's bedroom suite (allegely for Larosas full time team). with shag carpet and a full bathroom.

It's seen better days, just used for storage now a days.

Just outside the Main Dump between Soak City and the maintenance areas.

I don’t think I would want to sleep there…
