Rattle on River Racers

Featured Replies

I had the chance to experience River Racers and had an odd experience with this new for 2025 attraction.

It fills a nice hole in the line up, and compliments the existing attractions with its unique uphill component.

Something I found odd was during the saucer-esque turn I noticed a very strong rattle on each of my rides, so bad that I was only able to ride it two times before having to call it quits from my marathon.

I’m curious if anyone else had this experience? And if it’s an issue with the fiberglass (maybe white water changed their manufacturing process?) or the tube?

As in the slide itself was shaking? I wonder if that could just be how water coasters feel due to how the water moves, I wouldn't know though. A new rattle on day 3 of operations would not bode well for any ride or slide.

From my experience on water coasters, a little shake here and there is not rare. In fact, it's somewhat common. I remember riding Cheetah Chase at HW when it first opened and it was kind of shaky.

Although, I've never seen one of those types of bowls before on water coasters, so that could be it. Not sure though.
