Ride Wait Times 2025

Featured Replies

Please use this thread to update wait times for the 2025 season!

Please remember a ride going down is normal and it's okay to report, but please don't post "Riders are stuck on the lift hill of DB." A vague statement like that is not helpful and that is when the media starts calling the park.

We hope you are excited to get the 2025 season started. With the additions to Soak City this year, those hot Summer days should be a little easier to bear.

The KIC Admin looks forward to seeing everyone at the park this season.

The current wait time for The Beast is 48 hours and 49 minutes...

Are you sure? There’s no line right now!

Do they have 3 trains on Diamondback, mystic, Cincy junkyard coaster, The Beast, Banshee?  Looks like The Racer is only two trains.

Operations were not amazing today-I saw Mystic Timbers down a lot and riders had to get off a total of three times. As mentioned before, Diamondback was running 2 trains and Stunt Coaster was down

My wife and I have been getting the all season Fast Lane for about 5 years now and tonight on preview night we got in line for The Beast at around 8:30 and by the time we got to the front to scan our Fast Lane my wife requested if we can sit in the front and for the first time they said no requests after closing....since when did this start.

I guess I can understand if you're standing in the regular line but when you're spending $800 a piece for All season fastlane wristband you could be able to request any seat at any time.

Usually there is a wait for the front row for last ride of the night.  But they will disband at 10pm that and tell people go to any open row.  This is done to close the ride down quicker.  it doesnt matter if you spent $800 on a FL or are one of the peasants. :)

Oh no I know all of that. This was the first time we ever been told that. I know about the "go to any open lane" and the whole fireworks deal. Just odd how that happened tonight when the line for Fast Lane and regular was still really long. Regular line still took up everything to the front entrance when we got off the ride. In my honest opinion I believe we were just told that just because. I guarantee if we try to get front row in the future "after the park has closed" we will be allowed. And the line for front row when asked wasn't even long. I've seen way longer.

Shout out to The Beast crew last night!  We got in line at 8:55.  Mid and lower queues were completely full and we were about 30 people back outside the entrance.  The fastlane line also stretched back to almost the photo pick up.  We ended up on the next to last train and were off the ride at 10:16.  They were totally on it and having a blast doing it!  Oh, and the retrack is a thing of beauty!!!

Fast Lane does not equal preferred seating. It's not guaranteed for anyone in the stand by queue or the Fast Lane queue. If you get it, great....if not, just know you are never guaranteed it.

I'm surprised they ever allowed people to choose seats after closing time.  The standard behavior is that after close, all rows get filled.  A ride crew having to stay late to run trains with just the front seat filled is unusual.

I waited about the same as Passholder Preview Day:

Diamondback: 80 minutes-still at 2 trains

Beast: 70 minutes-how many trains does Beast normally run? I feel like they're one train short. Or, there's just so much Fast Lane and that's why it feels like the line doesn't move

They have been running 3 which is as many trains as they have.  With the new tracking it seems The Beast has exploded in popularity again.  I've seen full queue's 2 of the 3 times I've been to the park this year and the one time without a queue was after the rains on Friday.  It was a walk on around 6:45.  Word has gotten out and the public has spoken, seems like the retrack work on The Beast over the past 3 years is an absolute sucess!  Good call KI.

Wait times at the beginning of the season are likely going to be longer than the rest of the season due to having more trainees going through the motions.  KI doesn't really hit their stride in terms of efficiency until a week or two into daily operations, maybe a little before that.

That is, unless you're the Banshee or Orion crews.

Even Onion has not hit a stride yet. Via webcam, dispatches have been slow when I have watched. Of course, that's anecdotal as I'm not constantly watching.

After waiting a long while in Diamondback's line and watching Orion, they were doing about standard operations. The fastest I ever saw it yesterday was when the train hit the brakes, the next train left

They count down the last few trains and expect you to fill the rows. Def will not wait for people to have preferred seating, and it's been that way for 21+ years. They'll hold the last train to maximize it even if there isn't a queue.

For those of you not burnt out by Coasterstock, today is a decent day.  Light crowds, pretty standard if not shorter waits.

Go on days with rain in the forecast they say...maybe Zimmerman has some social media plants to make the park comfortably crowded on historically light days lol (about 40min wait)

To be fair, The Beast I have noticed increasing popularity/lines ever since they started retracking it even on dead days it usually has a line. With word going around about how smooth it is now, it wouldn't shock me one bit if The Beast has the highest ridership numbers this year. Even on dead weekdays, it's almost always a near full queue house during the last hour/fireworks.

Unlike mayflies, I find cicadas far less stupid.  I've never been hit by a cicada on a coaster yet.  I have quite a few mayfly casualties though.

You sound like they should have some sort of smarts to begin with.
