What’s your favorite Restroom?

I have to wonder if there's ever been a plan to expand Area 72 with a third ride and some actual restrooms. Most of the issue with the two family ones attached to Meteor Canteen (I assume) is the fact that they're such a confined space compared to the other restroom blocks. Moving the WindSeeker restrooms to be between the Coney Treats and Jukebox Diner would probably also help since guests would have a closer option to visit. If there are any restrooms in the park that I think definitely need an upgrade, it's the Front Gate restrooms and the Area 72 restrooms. Only having 1 stall with an actual toilet at the front of your giant park is diabolical work. I bet they could move the sinks to a floating wall in the center of the room (like in a Buc-ee's) and fill the current sink wall with more stalls to make it better. Why this wasn't addressed alongside any of the recent renovations in International Street, I don't think we'll ever know.

I agree. Those Area 72 bathrooms are terrible. My last visit only one bathroom of the two was open, and it took forever for a person in my party to get to the front and be able to go to the bathroom. They need some legit bathrooms here, not some family restrooms like they have now

Just about everyone is in agreement on this. There should be a restroom either there or next to the Area 72 entrance (where it could also serve the center part of Coneymall)

Are we only counting restrooms within the park? That small one outside the entrance usually seems decent.

In my 40+ years of going to the park, I don't know that I've ever been in the Festhaus restrooms.

The ones just outside the entrance are indeed nicely decent, albeit a little cramped. I'd think those might be a candidate for relocation if a Front Gate renovation ever occurred. The restrooms in the Festhaus are also somewhat decent in terms of size and efficiency, they just need a deep scrub and/or a modernization that includes urinal dividers.

Overall, Kings Island needs both more single-stall Family Restrooms and more/better full sets of restrooms, especially on International Street. (and a sign outside all of them instructing families to leave their strollers outside. It's not very fun when you realize you can't leave the restroom because there's a big stroller in the way.)

These strollers keep getting more elaborate and bigger every season too. Some now come with monster truck tires, 12" lifts, and some about the size of a smart car.

I've been saying it for years that they need to expand the bathrooms that are on International Street right when you walk in, always a line there no matter what time of day.

My favorite bathroom currently is the one by Banshee & The Bat less riff raff.

Whichever doesn't smell like p!ss these days sorry to say. When I went to Carowinds last spring they had spotless bathrooms and I saw at least three different employees cleaning them and wiping down the mirrors and sinks while I was there...KI might have better coasters but Carowinds has the best bathrooms in my experience

The one by Invertigo was actually very quiet this year . . almost forget you're at KI.  Also like the one by The Bat.  Outside of AZ I like the Brewhouse.

I gravitated towards that one a lot this year.

Too much skyline, or too much Panda Express?

That one would be so easy to expand within the current footprint as well. I think there's enough space to add at least 4 more stalls while putting the sinks in the middle of the room. Only having one stall in your front restroom is criminal.

I agree I've always thought there should be more stalls as well. There's clearly a lot of room for more.

Lol, I don't remember the last time I had skyline in the park and Panda is very seldom. I went by that bathroom a lot while I was taking pictures and looking at Invertigo.

It's one of the air conditioned and less smelly bathrooms.

I'm still salty that they replaced the counters throughout the park that used to be rocks under polyurethane. That was original and something I remembered from when I was a kid.

On another note, has anyone ever paid attention to the pink slime that grows in the white sinks?

I've wondered if was soap residue or Serratia marcescens.  Either one is disgusting. They need to change up the cleaning products they use.
