March 7, 200521 yr http://www.pki.com/news/photo_gallery.cfm?item_id=114 PKI.com has updated with new pics of IJST and it's looking good! Also their media center has gotten a MAJOR update to. Cheak it out.
March 7, 200521 yr I am speechless. It looks fantastic. The parking garage is going to be a trip. All the banks and drops are going to make this a must ride attraction for 2005 for sure.
March 7, 200521 yr Wow they really seemed to pick up the pace on building this. I can't wait too see what it looks like in about 2 weeks even though there is still so much work to be done on it.
March 7, 200521 yr They've gotten a lot done since those pictures have been taken. The parking garage helix is complete with the drop.
March 7, 200521 yr Been awhile since Ive seen IJ, oh wait, about an hour ago I was looking at it I love my job
March 8, 200521 yr They are working at an amazing pace on it. I keep on getting more and more excited for this ride the more I see it. I think this will be an amazing ride.
March 8, 200521 yr How old are those pictures if the helix is now completed? Aren`t they close to putting the final pieces of track in place? (Based on the pictures anyway.) It will be interesting to see how they work the queue line and the exit for this ride over by the Eagles old home.
March 8, 200521 yr Thanks, I guess I missed the obvious there. But sometimes, the pictures are taken a couple days before they post them to the website.
March 8, 200521 yr I agree, seeing those pics shows how awesome of a layout this will be! I can't wait to get down to PKI this summer and try it out!! Seeing some of those pics makes me think it will be a little more thrilling than some think it will be.
March 8, 200521 yr Lots of pictures! Seeing these picture makes me want to ride the ride that much more. It seems to be shaping up nicely, also, quite rapidly...
March 9, 200521 yr ^Yea that bank did kind of remind me of the Millenium Force bank, but it also kind of reminded me of these new coasters designed by Ingenieur Büro Stengel which are like extreme wild mouse coasters that also have wild banks. IJ:ST kind of reminds me a little bit of the Ingenieur Büro Stengel coasters that I have really wanted to ride Pics of the Ingenieur Büro Stengel ride Stengel has also designed coasters with B&M, Intamin, and others. He has worked on projects such as TTD, Scream, Titan, Storm Runner, Colossos, SOB, MF, Volcano, Incredible Hulk, and well basically every rollercoaster ever. Not to mention designing the first modern loop.
March 9, 200521 yr Check out the MFB (Millenium Force Bank) Why do I have the feeling that turn is going to be called the "Millinnium Force Turn" for years to come now? Oh wait... it's because of a certain person by the name of Drew...
March 9, 200521 yr Yeah, it is kinda like a MF curve, but on MF, the banking is still a lot steeper than that. It nearly turns you upside down, like in this pic Millennium Force Bank

I think IJ will be better though because the trains are longer and therefore heavier so the train will go through the turn with more momentum.
March 9, 200521 yr But it'll be even more fun because the back-end of each car "fish-tales" out around the turns...
March 9, 200521 yr Check out the MFB (Millenium Force Bank) Millennium Force... Millennium Force's turns are a lot steeper than IJ:ST's.
