March 7, 200521 yr I would choose both... Only because I like good fearful fun, and a nice look of the park while its cold and snowing! But some disagree.
March 7, 200521 yr Both is a no-brainer for any true PKI fan. The more I go to PKI the better, that's why I chose both. Have a groovy day! Italian Chef
March 7, 200521 yr From a guest's point of view I voted Winterfest. FearFest doesn't do much for me and too any guest for that matter who has to wait in the lines for the FF themed rides after they get filled up.
March 7, 200521 yr Well, I think the park has realised the popularity of Fear Fest, and this season it will be open on Fridays from 6 to 12, like it used to be back before 2003 when they included it with season passes and paid admission into the park. I for one would like to see both, extended hours in October (not like the 7 and 8pm closing times they had in October in the late 90`s) and a chance to visit the park in December and grab a ride on say Scooby, the Carousel, and maybe some other rides. It would just be nice to be able to visit the park in another seasons. If the park does bring back Winterfest and themes it like they have done with FearFest, they will have another really big winner on their hands like they have with FearFest.
March 7, 200521 yr Since I really dont care for FearFest but I will admit I do love some aspects of Halloween..Trick or Treating for example..I will choose winterfest because WinterFest came long before Fearfest plus Winterfest is more fun and family entertaining.
March 7, 200521 yr Fearfest because i always have the hope of actually being scared, plus its fun to see loooks on others faces. Other than that i just hate the cold. Dont get me wrong somethings look beautiful covered in snow, but i hate the cold so fearest definatly
March 8, 200521 yr I would have to say both because it would be nice going to King's Island in about Mid-December.
March 10, 200521 yr Winterfest? never heard of it... I guess that would be cool... But they don't have to get rid of FearFest, I'd be pretty bumbed if they did. They should do both!
March 10, 200521 yr Winterfest ran from 1982-1992. The park transformed into a Winter wonder land. On the floor of the Royal Fountain, they set up an ice skating rink. They decked out the Eiffel Tower to look like a big Christmas Tree by stringing lights down it. Also, they had various holiday displays. They had a couple of ride open, such as the Carousel, Dodgems, The Train, and the Smurf`s Enchanted Voyage (now Scooby`s Haunted Castle).
March 13, 200521 yr If you’re a true fan of PKI you would have to say both. Both events are keeping the park open months after most are closed. Now there are only going to be a few off months were we will not have access.
March 13, 200521 yr Well since i have never been to fearfest or winterfest I would have to go with both.
March 13, 200521 yr I'd definatly have to say both! Yeah, who would vote for neither? Maybe it was a spy from another park sent in to infiltrate our site and altar our poll results!
