August 18, 20233 yr Hello, Kings Island enthusiasts! I've been doing some extensive research on KI memorabilia, my main focus has been items from the Hanna Barbera era. With that being said, I've seen online that people have found the original park signs scattered around the Cincinnati area. Does anyone within this forum have any idea how I can get my hands on one of these signs if any are even available to be sold? I've only seen the few online and would love to own one. Maybe someone within this forum may have one for sale perhaps? Let me know!!

November 2, 20232 yr I have one as well. Mine was actually bought about 10 years ago at a a flea market in KY. Not sure how the salesman acquired so many, but… I was happy to take one off of his hands.
November 20, 20232 yr I remember those as a kid, if I'm not mistaken we always parked in the Boo-Boo lot.

August 25, 20241 yr Would love to purchase one! If anyone knows how I could find one, let me know. I've been looking for years with no luck.
January 7, 20251 yr It's been a few months since I've been there, but a booth at the West Chester Antique Mall has (or had) one on these signs. (IIRC, NFS decoration only) Quickdraw, I think?

I don't often find KI merch at antique malls, but what I do find is usually pricey. And often items that KI still sells (shot glasses, etc.) and at a price that hardly differs from what they go for at the park. I did get a LaRosa's collectors glass from 1983, which may be from some KI-themed promotion. If not, hey, it's LaRosa's and Hanna-Barbera characters, so that's the head cannon I'm going with.
January 9, 20251 yr I shared these from the booth with some friends: This was like $68 They had a couple of these and they were $38.
January 10, 20251 yr I once saw dirty old faded KI shirt -- don't recall the design -- for $30ish. I think this was at Ohio Valley Antique Mall.
February 12, 20251 yr Snagged this on Facebook Marketplace a little over a week ago. Been trying to get one for 20 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

February 16, 20251 yr Going to restore it or leave it as is? I’m going to fix the fiberglass yellowing and clean it up. I’m also going to fabricate a metal bracket for hanging. I didn’t realize this is one of the original signs, not the 2nd and 3rd generation ones that were installed in the lates 70s and late 80s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
