So most people likely know by now that Iron Dragon had some track removed during the off season at Cedar Point. I heard from someone that the track has been reinstalled and I decided to reach out to Cedar Point about the coaster and received the email pictured here. From the sound of the email, it should be operational for Opening Day. If anyone else has any more information concerning Iron Dragon, I and possibly others would be interested. 

It was announced at Winter Chill Out that the plan was to have ID operating for opening day.

Last picture of ID showed the track back in place and a car on the transfer track.

Yes exactly my thoughts! I personally won't be at CP on opening day but I'll be there that following week weather permitting.

That's what was anticipated. Rides, however, are machines and because they're machines, throughout the industry they're all day-to-day.

So.... sounds like it's not going to be opening day after all. 

I was at CP yesterday (May 11) and Iron Dragon was not operating. They did have trains on the lift and in the station house. Hopefully they get it up and running soon! 

^ Likely waiting on ODoA approval.

I imagine it's a crazy busy time for that office.

I'm at CP today and it is closed.  It is running with empty trains though so it looks they are doing their testing.

How were the crowds today?

^ Relatively moderate crowds.  Longest I waited was probably 40 minutes for Millennium and Valravn.  I was able to do Wild Mouse during ERT and was on the first train of Maverick and hit Steel Vengeance shortly after it opened.

I've seen reports that Iron Dragon opened today.

It’s not listed as opening mid May on the website anymore.

^That and on the video I posted in the TTD thread it's shown running.
