The KI theater should really be used for a full production choreographed Christmas show that showcases the best talent. Not a show where talented vocalists sing in elf voices or a character based show like the one that was fortunately eliminated.

Totally agree with all points. Tinkers is “fun” but unless the show is ramped back up to its 2005 version it’s just as much a waste of the main theatre as CBCS was (almost more in that it doesn’t even use the fly space and isn’t as “big” with the production numbers.)

Agreed, being a thespian if you have a full fly tower, you should use a full fly tower!

I asked some corporate entertainment folks why they didn’t use the Showplace at KI and they said that their belief is that the risk of having to close the theater because of ice and other weather events is far more risky at KI than it is at the other parks. Just remember, if there’s any kind of ice they’d have to close it because it would be very dangerous with the pitch of the aisles. 
 

If Tinker’s in the KIT is nearly as good as it was during Paramount you’ll be very pleasantly surprised

Hence why it needs to be redone with terraced seating. Could do flat levels-a few with  tables  and chair at the top and others with bench seating closer to the bottom. Could also look at adding a few support poles to hold up a more permanent roof with heaters. It would make it more flexible for all season use and add a dynamic energy to that area at WinterFest. Even if they didn’t do that they could install infrared heaters to melt the aisles. They do that for parking deck ramps.

Yes, as long as you have an active 2022 dining plan.  If you did not have a dining plan for 22, but purchased one for the 23 season, it will not work.
