Kings Island 2022 season to end August 21

Featured Replies

What a misleading article title and the phrasing of the article is weird/wrong - Haunt isn't every Sunday during that period, and no mention of Winterfest either.  Daily operation ends August 21, but there are still plenty of days that the park is open... So many improvements are needed in that title and article...

MASON, Ohio (WKRC) - Kings Island's 2022 season will officially end on August 21.

The park will be open again Aug. 27 and 28, Labor Day weekend from Sept. 2-5, and Sept. 11.

Halloween Haunt will run Fridays through Sundays from Sept. 23-Oct. 30.

Kings Island celebrated its 50th anniversary this season with a "Golden Celebration," complete with a special fireworks show narrated by "Brady Bunch" star Barry Williams.

Ah, yes.  The season will end!  With the park open after the date the season supposedly ends!

So KI is going to be open when it's closed?
