The ride entered natural frequency due to motor running with brakes being engaged. That’s a huge engineering oversight, and I wouldn’t be surprised if all the Zamperla frisbee rides would be shut down immediately until a fix is found.

    Just in case anyone “not in the know” is reading this, this is NOT at Kings Island and not a ride from the same manufacturer as Delirium. 
     

    But yeah, how terrifying! I hope no one was hurt!

    This did happen at a CF park as well. A ride collapsed at CP due to natural frequency/resonance event.

    That’s exactly what I was referencing. The removal of the carriage led to the system having no dampeners.
