Today while running errands I passed Kings Island on I-71. I saw a crane behind Diamondback's turnaround. Does anyone have any idea what they could be working on?

Kings Island is probably either filling Diamondback with additional sand or repainting it. Either way, likely nothing major is happening to the ride or to other rides. However, I can’t stress enough how AMAZING a Diamondback repaint would be. It needs it!

I drove by that day and saw it also. I pulled into the dropoff, and looking through my long lens it looked liked nothing more than track inspection. 

Last off season, they were filling the back half of the tracks with sand to cut down on noise. Wonder if they could be modifying that in some way...

hopefully they fix the airtime hill with the trim heading into the on ride photo.

I often wondered how necessary that trim is considering the MCBR immediately follows. Behemoth is loaded with them so I'm not complaining

Would B&M have to manufacture completely new track to fix that airtime hill though?
