Attendance must be hurting. Can’t say that would be terribly surprising. Tough situation.

Unfortunately deep discounts often market to the lowest common denominator. This seems to be the default reaction if and when attendance dips at the park during the season. Asking people to wear masks, socially distance, and essentially “work with us” to keep everyone safe is going to be quite the uphill battle from here on out. 

So if the gate is 21.99 then it would take 10 visits now to pay for the $200 platinum and I can only use it at 4 parks and one waterpark? Reduced hours, no nighttime hours masks etc.

Last time I checked the Cedar Fair Platinum passes didn't get you in Schlitterbahn parks.
