Current (Aug 12, 2011) "street view" archive plans?

Featured Replies

I was having fun tonight "walking around" K.I. virtually with the Google street view that was "recorded" on Aug 12, 2011.

There are already LOTS of things different in the past 9 years (Son of Beast gone, Banshee, antique cars, orion, Vortex and on and on).  It would be a shame to just lose this cool immersive view into the past if/when they ever do it again!  It's so much easier than looking up old photos etc.

I know in Google Earth for desktop you can go back in time through older satellite images, but I don't think they archive old street view images.

Is there any effort to archive all the street view images of Kings Island??

I don't even know how to attempt it...

Old street view images are archived. When multiple photos exist, there will be a clock icon you can select to change the image date

How do you find the clock icon?

It's up in the top left, but it is ONLY visible when images from multiple dates exist from that spot. If there is only one, then it will not appear.

I'm on a desktop web browser so I have no idea if it's different on a mobile device.
