Likely for the better.  The park hadn't operated in a year, and would have to rebuild its reputation from the depths of hell.

    Besides the marketing troubles, it would have been odd to have a second water park in the same market as one of their parks (which already has a water park).

    The value of the assets and land, minus the reputational cost of being associated with that property, apparently isn't worth $6M. That price never suggested a business that would be a going concern.

    Surprisingly, the local auditor still appraises the property at over $25M as of this year.
