They must have just got the cam back on in the last 20 or so minutes,  I checked it around 9.  This looks awesome!

Here are my pics from yesterday. Didnt take any professional camera up. Just with my S9+. Plus, was a little bumpy. Watermarked because some people. And these definitely are "exclusive".

The cams are back on and live!

Looks like  they will continue work on thr after drop area and head up to the wave hill. Support in place heading back up!

Piece of Artemis is on the back of a truck heading out!

They are loading part of the white crane on a truck, guess we will see if it heads back towards the turn around?

Looks like they're taking the pieces of the white crane out to toward the front.....  Truck just left with the piece that was loaded.....

So I assume they will put the chain on next correct?   They will need multiple large cranes for that.

Yes,they will need only one large crane to do this as they will pull the chain up the hill.

Wow, what a welcome surprise this morning!  It looks absolutely massive.  Artemis is on her way out, and it'll be interesting to see how they move the other two cranes over to the next area of construction.

I have enjoyed roller coasters since I was roughly 8 years old, (early 80's) and never really got excited about the latest and greatest. I just rode the next one on my yearly trip to KI. Only one I was crazy excited about was the original Bat but I was not tall enough to ride it before it was shut down. For some reason, this one has really gotten me going. I am so excited to ride it that I am going crazy. I averaged one trip to KI every other to every 3rd year but for the first time we got season passes for 2020. It is $50 in gas to get there and back each trip and I think we will be spending lots of gas money this year. May have to say in a nearby hotel a couple times.  This thing looks incredible! I am not an engineer but do have experience with FMX riding on 150+ foot jumps. It sure looks to me that it will have some crazy air time.

DB's lift sits on land at elevation of 756 (source: https://webmap.co.warren.oh.us/wcgis/auditor/)

Orion's lift sits on about 746/748 (so roughly 10 feet lower --- unless they re-graded the land any)

So assuming the land was not regraded, Orion will visually appear to be 47-49 feet higher than Diamondback.

From the bike trail, on the other side of the river.

So now that the cams are back on and the lift hill is complete, what is the next section to be done?

It looks like they are starting on the wave turn. I'm so glad the webcams are back up!

So are they just going to build in order of the layout?

That's is what it seems like at this point. No idea if any work is being done down near turn around.

So it looks like White Castle is gone

That's weird, shouldn't have your auto correct corrected that to Artemis?

I mean there are still pieces of Artemis laying on the ground. lol They have been moving him out all day.

For anybody who may have forgotten.

Giant red crane - Zeus

Other red crane with white tip - No Name?

White crane - Artemis (may be back when they are starting on the turnaround)

Yellow crane - T-Bone

Small white crane - Cleo

The half white half red crane can be called " Baskets" since he holds the basket the crew gets in haha

Also there is track being sent to bottom of drop. Looks like we may get another piece placed.

Not to steal Orion's thunder but Steel Vengeance last year did this same thing for me. I had not been to any amusement parks in almost 14 years and I had to go Ride it. I bought my first platinum pass last fall because of it. Went to Kings Island for Haunt and Winterfest 18. Now here I am with Season fastlane for the chain, platinum, meal and dining plans and I may buy lockers too. I went to 5 parks this year for a total of about 25 visits. I can't wait to ride Onion on passholder preview night. I just wish there was a way I could go to media day but that's unlikely as I am not media and don't know anybody with this connections.
