With a clue like that, it sounds to me it'll be either a Dive coaster or a slide complex like Tropical Plunge. We shall see...

Hadn`t it been mentioned as part of the long range plan for the park that they filed with the City (who actually owns the park) that they intended to install a hyper coaster?  I might be remembering that wrong, but I seem to recall hearing that.

Thats what I get for trying to type a logical post so early in the morning.  Yes, the city owns the land that the park is built on.  Cedar Fair owns the park.  

That park is one of the Cedar Fair parks (and the only former Paramount Park) that I have not visited.

I could've sworn I heard somewhere that the hyper was actually cancelled, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

^ I had seen something similar that the 2020 permits were canceled with Santa Clara last August.  Right around that same time the permits for our 2020 project were filed.
