This is just a mash up of the clips I took last night of New Years at KI. 

This was KI’s first New Years celebration. Did you get to attend? What were your thoughts? Was it a blast or was it a bust?

 

Looked like a great time!  No I didn't go but maybe this year I will!

I was thinking what else could they add that would make the NYE event even better, and noticed there was no confetti..  I'm sure the park would probably say no, but an alternative is to use the bubble machines from Halloween Haunt,  and time them to go off right at 12.  Happy New Year everyone!

My wife and I attended.  We live up close to Cedar Point but love visiting Kings Island.  I thought KI did a great job of hosting their first New Year's event.  Lots of energy and activities going on around the park.  The weather that day was miserable until around 7pm so that hurt the attendance.  I thought by 10pm the crowds had built to a good level and International Street seemed busy but the rest of the park was pretty quiet.  Assuming it returns for next season, we will be back for sure.  

We went the night before New Years eve thinking that it would not be crowded.  We were wrong the park was packed.  Might try to go New Years eve next year it looked like it was a blast.

Seemed like a cool concept.  I hope the poor weather does not deter the park from doing it again next year.
