Famous Paramount parks

Featured Replies

What do you think is the most known Paramount park?

I Think Canada's Wonderland looks to me the best since it has a wide veriaty of rollercoasters, flat rides, and more.

Seeing as how PKI is Paramount`s flagship park, and the most visited of all the parks owned or managed by them, I would say that PKI is the most famous. However, it all depends where and to whom you ask that question. If you ask a local in Charlotte, NC, the same question, they might say PC because they`ve neve heard of the other Paramount Parks. The same example can be used for all of the param ount parks. But generally, PKI has been known for its record breaking duo of wood coasters, which has gained it attention for almost 25 years now, helping to make it one of the most famous Paramount Parks. Also, one reason it has a large attendance is that something like 50% of the country`s population lives within 500 miles of the park. I heard that in a newsarticle talking about the park`s attendance once a long time ago.

well PKI is well known for the coasters and great rides and Kings Island has the best kids area in the world and record breaking coasters basically PKI is the most recongized amusement park in Paramount Parks history. With Boomerang Bay Coming this 2004 season this will be the biggest upgrade in PKI history ant be known to Paramount Parks history

PKI has received the Golden Ticket for Best Kid's Area for a number of years, I believe. They also do have the world's tallest gyro drop; the tallest, fastest, and only looping woodie; the longest woodie in the world which is the longest coaster (of both steelies and woodies) in North America; the world's first LIM launched coaster, a coaster that broke the inversion record when it opened, the coaster that a heaping percentage of enthusiasts say sparked the second golden age of coasters, and a polethera of just darn good rides. (Please excuse the language, but emphasis is needed.)

PKI is Paramount's flagship park. I'm thankful for having such a sweet place so close to where I live.

I think the results can be best summed up with something my uncle from St. Louis said about PKI while visiting, "Now I know why people come from so far just to visit the park, it's alot better than most other parks, at least those I've been to."

Now in all honesty, what kind of a response did you expect on a site dedicated to Kings Island? Come on, we ARE the only park that ever gets mentioned on these top roller coaster shows on the travel/discovery channels.

Actually PGA,PC are mentioned every once in awhile. Also PKD is mentioned also. But on a show by show basis PKI is the most shown Paramount park.

I would say PKI is defanantly the most widely known paramount park, although the year Stealth came out, PGA got the most attention, but that all died out the next year. SOB's attention and Beast's attention never died out like crummy old Stealth.

Heck, PKI even showed up in my math book for crying out loud! A whole question is dedicated to the first hill of The Beast! PKI is definatly the most famous P Park. I'll scan the question eventually.

Do it! That'd be great!
