I have never ridden these rides and I would like to know what you all think is the better deal. I personally think that Sling Shot looks more thrilling.

Slingshot is lame! You only flip a couple times on the first time (which is what happened to me) and then you just kinda bounce. Skyflyer on the other hand is much more thrilling. Coming that close to the ground while looking at it is very creepy, and its very relaxing after the first drop.

I love both rides. When I ride Xtreme Skyflyer, only the initial drop is scary. After that, it's smooth sailing.

However, every second of Sling Shot makes me scream with fear and shock.

Hence, I vote for the more intense ride so long as it doesn't give me cardiac arrest.

Now, now Mr. Chef, your much too young and healthy to worry about cardiac arrest. No coaster or attraction in the park can do that to you!

I haven't ridden any of those, but I would love to ride both of them. In fact, they are the only rides in the park that I haven't ridden. Maybe I will gain enough courage (and have enough money) to ride them sometime before the end of the year is out.

SlingShot....Not that my vote is biased or anything.

I haven't ridden either, but from what I hear nothing beats the feeling that you're not going to stop going up when you launch on slingshot and it is seconded by the feeling that you're going to hit the ground upon your return.

Now I agree with everyone that says Sling Shot has a lot more screams but there's no real fun in it. You just bounce up and down and do a couple flips. Big deal.

Skyflyer is fun to ride with others that have never ridden it before. I've been on the ride so many times that I'm use to the drop. It's the raising from the ground up that scares me. You never can tell when it's going to stop. Side 2 is the best side to ride. The part about flying through the air for me is the thought that it looks like you're going to smack straight into On Location but you don't.

I think that I will go with Sling Shot net time I visit PKI, I find speed and height more appealing than swinging. Allthough, I would ride the Sky Coaster in Orlando over SS anyday because theirs is 300FT tall.

I'm not gonna spend that much extra money just to bungee jump at a place where i can walk over and get the same sensation for free on one of the rides.
