We recieved teasers about Carowinds new coaster on Twitter today! Let's start a thread about its progress!

 

I love all of the references to Miami River Lumber Co. and Steel Vengeance.

I know we had guessing in another thread, but with these teasers, what are your thoughts? Seems like a woddie or hybrid with a barn.

So, I saw this earlier today and I'm thinking a launched coaster (the original rumor for 2019, courtesy of Screamscape), GCI wooden coaster or an RMC. When I posted this in response to the park's post on Twitter, someone else thought that Carowinds could be teasing a Hurler re-do.

It’s a Mack. The footers are from Mack, there was literally a box in the shipping area with ‘Mack’ on it.

A surprising amount of enthusiasts think it was just a red herring, but enthusiasts tend to overestimate their importance to the park. They’re not going to go to these lengths just to “fake enthusiasts”, the vast majority of guests visiting the park don’t know or care what Mack is.

On the other hand, it takes very little time or money to paint a fake logo like that. Somebody could have easily done that on their coffee break.

Just because enthusiasts are not as important to the parks as we like to think we are doesn't mean the parks totally ignore us. My favorite example of this are the O'Terpy and O'Suhr headstones that went up shortly before Banshee's announcement (and I think are still on display if you know where to look). I'm not saying that it is fake or that it isn't, just that perhaps it could be.

The proof has been there for nearly two months

I would say if this is a Mack and it is similar to Time Traveler it will be a great addition to the park.  The problem Carowinds has it that they have a great top three (Fury, Afterburn, and Intimidator) but after that it falls off dramatically.  I look forward to seeing what is coming and I like their teasing so far.
