OK people, they changed the lighting on FoF, do you like the old way, or the new way better? Some people on this forum are complaining about the new lights, I like them. I want to see what you think!

I havent been to PKI and rode FoF with the new lights, but I think will still be a great ride. I'll be coming down to PKI in a few weeks so I'll check out the new FoF lights then. I know when you ride with all of the lights on it's still cool but you can see the supports and stuff.... guess I'll find out here shortly what it's like.

EDIT: I have been on FoF after the new "lights effect" change, and I find I like it better with the new lights.

well dark is cool cause you can't see what'll happen next but with the lights you get awesome headchoppers

I rode FoF a couple weeks ago and I have to say that I like the new lighting. Cool colored blacklighting.

I was privelaged to ride fof with the house lights on...... It was great seeing the track. You still didnt know what was going on. That coaster is just crammed in that little building you couldnt see any loops coming or anything.

How did you get to do this? It's rare that they let guests ride with the lights on.

It was during math and science day the park is closed to the public, only schools aloud and the house lights were on. I figure they were installing the new lights that night or something. It was EXTREMLEY sweet going thru the tunnel rushing into a big pile of twisted black speghettie. All you could see was the track going straight up couldnt tell what it was gonna do cause the top of the launch tunnel cuts it off. It was sweet.

Actually, I have vague memories of being able to see the beginning of the cobra roll looking down the tunnel around 96.

I have ridden Flight of Fear lights on too, there was a malfuntion with the launch and we were stopped in the tunnel. They rolled us back into the station, we got out, they fixed it and left the lights on. I like FoF 100X better lights on!

yup its sweet as hell either way! That coaster is just so jammed in there everything is REALLY close to you.
