Employee dress codes

Featured Replies

A friend of mine that I worked with during the 2017 season said that employees are now slowed to wear their piercings while working I was wondering if this is true? I wanna come back for the 2018 season but I’m not sure I will if I can’t wear my piercings.

Welcome to KIC!

The best people to ask about this would be the park itself, but I think it is entirely possible. I know they have relaxed their policy on facial hair and visible tattoos recently.

Oooh, this post has potential to get interesting. I for one don't judge for tattoos and piercings. The issue for the park as far as I am concerned however, is once you allow a little, you have to allow the whole lot, and while I don't care what you do to ornament your body, some people are made uncomfortable by certain things.

Yes this is true. They allowed more piercings. I don't wear any piercings so I didn't take a good look at the rules this year. Hr would be the best place to ask this question, (513) 754-5648

It's my understanding that Cedar Fair has relaxed--but not eliminated--appearance standards this year. Some piercings, tattoos, facial hair, and hair colors/styles that were not previously permitted are allowed now. However, it's definitely not a free-for-all.

As others have said, contact the Human Resources department for more information.
