January 2, 20188 yr I have seen some discussion about some of the B&M inverts in the CF chain. I was wondering how we all rank them? Maybe top 3? Mine would be Afterburn - Carowinds Banshee - KI. Raptor - CP.
January 2, 20188 yr I'd have to go 1. Afterburn, Cwinds. 2. Silver Bulltet, KBF. 3. Raptor-CP. 4. Banshee-KI. (I'm not dissing Banshee, she is a fun ride, but I prefer tight layouts. And B&M inverts are not favorites of mine.)
January 2, 20188 yr I can't decide what is the best.... I've enjoy the Batman clones...but love Afterburn at Carowinds for the intensity yet smooth ending....love Banshee for the non stop action and love Talon at Dorney. Raptor at CP is okay but hate how rough it can be at the ending although I love the intensity.
January 2, 20188 yr Banshee and Afterburn are very close for me. Banshee takes the cake for the more comfy restraints. Banshee - KI Afterburn - Carowinds Raptor - CP
January 2, 20188 yr Author Raptor is getting really rough. I wonder if they would ever "rebuild" it like Island of Adventures did to the Hulk.
January 2, 20188 yr I've been on 4 of the B&M inverts. Banshee and Afterburn are the top for me, but I struggle to pick one over the other. The other two are Raptor and Talon. Raptor was great on my first ride, but has been meh ever since. Talon I only rode once, and I honestly can't remember the experience. Which is kinda sad considering it was only this past June, but oh well.
January 2, 20188 yr I really enjoy Alpengeist at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Out of the three B&M inverts I've ridden (Alpengeist, Raptor, and Banshee), it's my favorite!
January 2, 20188 yr I've been on every B&M invert in North America except for the ones in California. I would rank the top 3 as: 1) Banshee 2) Montu 3) Afterburner Honorable Mention: Alpengeist The Worst: Great Bear
January 2, 20188 yr Author Ahh yes I forgot about Montu. Hmm I have yet to be on Alpengeist. I hear great things.
January 3, 20188 yr I have only been on Banshee, Raptor and the now defunct Dueling Dragons at Universal Orlando. I happened to like Dueling Dragons better as Banshee ended up giving me a headache so bad that I had to sit down and drink water so I could continue on in the park. Ranking: 1. Dueling Dragons 2. Raptor 3. Banshee
January 3, 20188 yr If we're just talking CF B&M inverts... 1. Talon 2. Banshee 3. Patriot If we're talking all B&M inverts... 1. Montu 2. Talon 3. Great Bear
January 3, 20188 yr 1. Raptor 2. Banshee 3. Montu 4. Talon 5. Dueling Dragons Fire 6. Dueling Dragons Ice 7. Silver Bullet 8. Great Bear 9. Batman The Ride (Great Adventure)
January 3, 20188 yr I've only been on a handful of B&M inverts- 1. Banshee 2. Raptor 3. Great Bear 4. Batman: The Ride (NJFTP)
January 3, 20188 yr I must say that Montu is my hands down favorite (no competition) invert. Ever since I rode it opening year in 1996 it has been one of my all time favorite coasters. If I were to rate the B&M inverts that I have ridden they would probably go something like this: 1. Montu 2. Fire Dragon 3. Banshee 4. Raptor 5. Afterburn 6. Alpengeist 7. Ice Dragon 8. Silver Bullet 9. Batman Clones
January 3, 20188 yr 1. Banshee 2. Alpengeist 3. Raptor l'll be at Busch Gardens Tampa tomorrow though, so Montu might change things. Edit: Montu is now my #1 invert
January 4, 20188 yr 1. Banshee 2. Montu 3. Raptor 4. Afterburn 5. Dueling Dragons (Fire) 6. Dueling Dragons (Ice) yeah I didn't get Dragons, while I did like Fire, Ice just gave me a headache, and was pretty rough for a B&M (at least that's how I feel)
January 4, 20188 yr I've never totally understood the love a lot of people have for Alpengeist. To me, it headbangs enough that it ruins the ride (especially in the cobra roll and the turn into the MCBR.) If I want to ride something that goes upside down at BGW, I'd so much rather get on Loch Ness Monster or Griffon. But, that's me! I do really like its theme, though.
January 4, 20188 yr I've only been on a handful of B&M Inverts but my top 3 woudl probably be: 1 - Banshee 2 - DC - Chinese Fireball 3 - DC - Hungarian Horntail The only other one I've been on is Raptor and while it's fun it's also pretty rough. Finally get to ride Montu later this year and see where it lands on the list
February 12, 20188 yr I have been on almost all B&M Inverts in the US, and on all the ones that most people consider the best. 1) Afterburn 2) Montu (close second) 3) Batman (SF Great America) 4) Several other Batman Clones 5) Alpengeist 6) Banshee 7) Raptor 8) Talon The rest kinda blend together due to being all too similar.
February 15, 20188 yr Hello everyone! Long time reader. First time "post-er"! As far as the topic at hand, my top 3 goes as follows, Alpengeist Raptor (tie) Banshee and Great Bear
February 15, 20188 yr Welcome to KIC @That_B&M_Roar Now, I've only had a Gold Pass since I was younger. So I haven't had the luxury of going to other parks. Only to KI. So my favorite is Banshee. :P Maybe my Platinum Pass will change that this year. Haha
February 15, 20188 yr I have only been on a few inverts but to me the best in the business are the Batman clones. The quickness and forcefullness of the those rides are par to none.
February 17, 20188 yr Here’s my B&M inverted coaster ranking on the ones I’ve ridden:1. Banshee 2. Montu 3. Talon4. Afterburn5. Alpengiest 6. Raptor7. Batman: The Ride (SFSTL & SFoG)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

February 18, 20188 yr My top 3 B&M inverts follow as: 1. Afterburn "Carowinds " 2. Banshee "Kings Island" 3. Montu "Busch Gardens Tampa"
February 18, 20188 yr Mine is Banshee Afterburn Raptor Although honestly, If I rated them out of 100 It would probably be, Banshee 92.5 Afterburn 92.4 Raptor 88.5
