Created just out of curiosity.  Those that know me can pretty well guess my answer.

I think I'd like to end the season on Diamondback.

I unintentionally ended my season last Sunday on Surf Dog with my mother. At least it was a fun ride, and we didn't valley on the far side like we did last time I rode it with her.

I'll be at the woodie out back for my last ride of the main season (not counting likely Timbers' rides for Winterfest).  

As I've already been in the park for the final time as a guest, it will probably be Skyflyer (where I work). My last ride as a guest I believe was The Bat.

That is a great question- I'm guessing it will either be Bat or Diamondback (as I'm considering switching it up this year).

Mine will be determined after I freeze Sunday on MT and DB, provided DB is open.

It was between The Beast and Mystic Timbers for me. I picked The Beast since I won't ride it again til April, and Mystic will be open for WinterFest.

Last year, I closed out on Woodstock Express. It was fun! I may do that again. 

Ok, so after riding Diamondback last night, I think I'll have to end this season on The Bat (provided it's open tomorrow).

So, I did end up ending my season on Bat (front seat) and it was a great dusk ride! 

Ended up having my last ride be Viking Fury, and it was a fantastic choice.

@electricsun and I ended the season on The Grand Carousel. She has a pic of it.

Actually had my last ride on Woodstock Gliders, and really enjoyed it. Didn't think I would end the season on that.

While I technically ended the season at Hot Blooded, my last ride was Mystic Timbers. 10/10, would ride again.

I ended the fall season with Mystic Timbers’ second-to-last train which I had all to myself!  

At the end of public operation (before the Rides Night), I and eight other crew members rode WindSeeker’s last cycle of the season. I had always thought “someday I ought to partake in WindSeeker’s last ride of the season!” and that day was today!

We had gone on all the major rides that were part of ERT, and just decided on the way out to hit up Woodstock Express. It may have actually been two years ago, when I've thought about it more. I'm not sure. 

But, I wasn't able to make it a tradition because the ride never got running today at all. So I ultimately closed my regular season on Diamondback. I probably should have done Mystic Timbers because that's how I started my season, but I guess I'll save that for closing out 2017 for good. 

We ended the night and season on the last train of Diamondback.  I should be thawed out by opening day 2018

At Kings Island, my final ride of 2017 was Beast @ Night way back in August. It was amazing as usual for Beast night rides. Didn't come to KI for Haunt this year. Last coaster of the 2017 regular season (winter events not included) was GateKeeper at Cedar Point though, 2 days ago on October 28th.

Sadly my last trip to KI was on Sunday August 13th. The day was very fun as my nine year old took his first lap on Mystic (Picture soon to come). However, I closed the night wanting to grab a new credit, being Woodstock Express. They were only running one train operations leaving me waiting 20 minutes just to get one ride. Since my brother rarely ever goes to KI, I also wanted to grab the elusive Great Pumpkin Coaster credit. To my surprise, my GP parents swooped us up an hour before closing. That sums up my last ride of the 2017 season.

 

Gosh I am gonna miss this ride. Why does the off season have to be so long?! ;-;

I ended on the last train for 2017 on Beast! It was well worth the icicles hanging from my nose!

My last ride of the season was this past Friday - a cold soggy ride on The Beast.  She never disappoints, does she?

I fully intended to go back to KI Saturday to end the season properly, but, I never fully thawed out from the previous night.    I didn't get to meet any new KIC pals.  I'm looking forward to the Holiday Party and possible Winterfest meet up(s).

Question: What's the park's stance on wearing ski masks during inclement weather on coasters?

I saw several folks wearing them this weekend on the rides. The only people that seemed to have trouble with face xoverings are the Halloween masks during Haunt by non park people

Good to know in planning for MT during Winterfest!

I definitely intend to bring a ski mask for riding Mystic Timbers at Winterfest.

I ended the regular season with the final walk-through of Dinosaurs Alive, then ended ERT with the very cold (37°) last ride of the season on The Beast.

I have ended my year with a lights-on final train run on FoF but I didn't make it back there in time. I was sitting on DB's brake run for what seemed like hours as I watched 6:53 turn into 6:59, thus crushing my chances. I do believe I was on the last non-ERT train on Diamondback.
