Holovis appoints Howard Newstate as Vice President of Experience Innovation

 

Old news, but still a cool blog.

Howard Newstate designed and was responsible for FUNtv for a few years. Holovis themed Mystic Timbers’ shed.

I'd like to see what these guys can do for Haunt/Winterfest in the shed. I know some people are on the fence (myself included) about screen focused dark ride effects, but it lends to a certain versatility. Could be pretty rad. 

Holovis is doing amazing work lately! Hopefully they can keep it up!

Doubt you'll see a difference for Haunt and Winterfest this year.  The ride is still new, so it still sells itself.  In the future, I could see them investing the money for the "Christmas" or "Halloween" versions of the shed.  Much of it is a video, so changing it wouldn't be difficult.

Winterfest Mystic Timbers Shed = Last Christmas by Wham. 

 

Make it happen, Kings Island. 

The possibilities are endless.  Once there might be a return on investment, we might see some cool things!
