A man responsible for helping create many of Disney's dark rides has died.

Sad news indeed.  Especially following on the heels of Marty Sklar.  Thoughts go out to his family.

It's sad that we're losing so many of this older generation.  These guys had a direct link to Disney's past history and even Walt himself.  I love listening to these guys talk and tell personal stories and anecdotes about working at the company and with Walt.  It feels like we're losing a part of that history as each one of them passes.  Hopefully they've written their stories down so that they can be passed on to future generations.

Marty Sklar wrote a book a few years back which I read.  Well worth a read for any Disney fan.
