Seats, not trains. Not announced, a leaked photo from (I believe they are saying) someone in maintenance's instagram.

I hope said employee didn't lose their job over it. 

But if you wanna know more read back in the thread, it would make more sense than repeating all of it over. 

I kinda like the way they look in the photo shop pic. Can't wait to see in real life. If it is real.

The individual who posted the picture did so on a social media site under his given name, and has posted many photos before.  He is also featured on the FunTV segment about working on roller coasters (at least I think he is, he was not named, but his social media photo matches the image on FunTV.)  I admire the work these people do.  Imagine the hours, the weather and the production deadlines.  Kudos to them.

I had been in contract with the park since this picture made social media. Earlier today, I heard from Chad Showalter who confirmed that these are in fact new seats for Diamndback. Keep an eye on KI social media for pictures in the coming weeks!

I wonder if the whole seat is being replaced or just the back piece. I hope the clamshells are replaced as well.

yay for the new seats! I have heard that clamshells may or not be the same color. I would imagine they would but who knows what goes on there!

Who said they won't be black? Those are clearly the old seats. You can see the discoloration, especially on the seats to the right.

Seems like you are trying to argue to me. Started off as no big deal but some people on here like to just stir the fire. Just stop.

I'll be back on topic now. So maybe those seats were just ones they didn't get to yet. Maybe its all a joke and the first pic of black seats really isn't for DB. Those looks like the back of something else if I am being honest.

Returning to the topic at hand, I hope this new food location brings a revamp of be CM. Overhead string lights, striped flags, vintage signage, etc. CM could use some color and texture.

^^ I agree. I hope they do spruce it up in CM. It would look really nice with string lighting. Like over the Gemini midway at CP.

I'd just be happy to get the Coney Mall sign back. I miss the area formerly known as Coney Mall.
