Did anyone else notice guest speaker Lance Heal, Kings Island entertainment manager was speaking on day one of Coasterstock he said something was going to be retired following the 2017 season. My guess is a show but I honestly have no clue. I'm sure most of you guys have more insight than I do. What are your thoughts? 

That part of his speech was referring to Haunt. One older attraction will be departing for this year's event, but we'll see two new attractions. It was not specified whether these "attractions" are mazes, scare zones, shows, etc.

A new maze and scare zone would be nice.

Perhaps the haunt that is retiring is Wolf Pack. There has been some reports that suits have allegedly been seen checking out the old SOB station where Wolfpack resides. Maybe the (alleged) tagged tree near The Bat and fill dirt also indicate a new maze or haunt somewhere in this part of Action Zone. Food for thought. The thread these reports were first mentioned in is titled "Survey Markers by The Bat" I didn't personally think the tagged tree indicating anything at first but with the information that a haunt is retiring, my wheels started turning a bit.

Wolf Pack isn't great, I'd be happy to see it go and be replaced by a better haunt, wishful thinking but I'd like to see a haunt themed to The Beast's unwanted son.

The Haunt that needs to leave is Urgent Scare.....it's dated, tired, lacks staff and is no longer "good." 

I definitely agree about Urgent Scare being tired, and lacking in staff and actual scares. It's also in a building that would be extremely useful for a dark ride in the parks future.

I suspect it will be Urgent Scare.  It might actually be the oldest haunt at this point as well.

CarnEvil is the oldest haunt in the lineup. In terms of attractions under the "Halloween Haunt" moniker (haunts that were installed from the 2007 season onward), Urgent Scare is, indeed, the oldest; Club Blood was re-designed as Blackout, and Slaughterhouse was relocated and re-worked.
