Has anyone heard anything about Cirque this year?  I was hoping to have heard something about the show this year but so far have heard nothing.

I'm a cirque nut. I go to every show on the days I go to the park. 

I love Cirque! I remember before the first show I saw I was recommended to see it here on the boards (Pretty sure it was by Ms. Magenta Lizard, herself) and they are great! I took my fiancé with me despite his usual dislike of shows and he loved it! Side Not: I'm also excited to see the Back to the 90's show too!

Cirque is awesome! And yes, i can attest to MagentaLizard's status as a Cirque enthusiast.  I would love to see DuoFannick come back and it would blow my mind if there was a trapeze-off between Shannon and Evelyn (season 2 of Imagine) and DuoFannick. Bonus points if they use TFK's "Give up the Ghost" as the song during this act.

In all seriousness, I am excited to see what these talented guys and gals bring to the table this season.

Maybe I will come up with some Terpy-like statements to give some hints...some of you may remember my hints during last season...

I found of from one of my friends, who is a Origins fanatic, that Josh and Michael Sevigny are the only two coming back for this year. (If you don't remember, Josh was one of the purple ferret guys, and Michael was one of the elf dudes). So yeah, we have two returners and some fresh new faces!

Sorry to double-post, but according to KI's site (https://www.visitkingsisland.com/things-to-do/live-entertainment), Cirque's off day is Wednesday and it starts May 27th!

Not that I've heard. That Origin Fan that I talk to shared her chat with me on Instagram and it just said that Josh and Mick are returning, and that there would be a whole new cast besides them. I'd love to have Sam back though. He's really nice.

Thanks for the info; it'll be interesting to see if there are any new acts this season since there appears to be a mostly new cast.  

 Is there somewhere online that says who this year's cast will be? My daughter who is 4 loves "Ariel" she was hoping she would return.

Not that I know of. To my knowledge, the cast is usually only discovered through searching social media once the show gets closer to opening. I'm also hoping Aerial returns, though, too! Her act is one of the coolest things we've seen out of the cirque shows, in my opinion.

Even with a mostly new cast, I'm sure the show will have the same beat though...

Our daughter's 5th birthday is Memorial day weekend. We will definitely be watching Cirque.
