Introducing "Venom" the next installment of my giga series. It comes with a new midway section and the area  for games / food between AE and Venom.

The track being the color black on some of these makes me think what the general public would say. They already think Diamondback's black seats are going feel like lava on hot days, despite many other rides in the park having black seats too.

Would they think the track would melt with a black colored track?

Well BLSC has black track. I hope they don't think that track is melting?

@Maverick44 I like that placement and the midway that goes all the way to Xbase!

I like that as well haha More options for food or games or shops. It also gives that TTD feel where passers by can see the station / loading.

Yeah restrooms for sure! Maybe connect the restrooms to the FoF  building between the giga and fof. They could also renovate the old picture station for fof into restrooms.

Changing the direction a little bit, do you guys think X-Base will always be a dead end or will the park add another path?

 

I would hope X-Base would eventually get an expansion.. if they were to expand that space would have so much more potential

I honestly think they will add on to the path and wrap it through old DA area to connect a giga / CM.

TBH, it’s likely for Wanda though.

I want a coaster that you can walk around entirely- one thats surrounded by walkways where the coaster interacts with pathways and guests.

Think Blue Fire- notice the surrounding pathways. I don't know if those paths are part if the que or what but I bet it provides an awesome viewpoint for guests.

 

Hey I would LOVE to have a  coaster like that in the DA area and have the paths all around. Give me something more like Taron! Haha Intamin all day!  I will say that Mack looks pretty fun though!

In my opinion, it looks like I305 track. Probably not for KI though since CF doesn't work with Intamin anymore. (Not starting any B&M vs Intamin things.)

Intamin ships their track in containers.  That might be Premier or Vekoma track instead, maybe even Maurer.

CF hasn't really worked with primer in a while though.

It was a few months ago.  That track is not at KI.  Has CF even worked with Premier.  Personally I don't like Premier.

The last rides that Premier built that are in a Cedar Fair park are the Backlot Stunt Coaster clones.

Correct....as I stated "that are built in a Cedar Fair park." Didn't say they were purchased by Cedar Fair nor Cedar Fair worked with them for the installations.

Actually Intamin uses a single spine, they have a new style of track that Hyperion is using 

 

WOW, what a long thread we've got here!  

Personally, I'd love to see a floorless at the park, but I do think a giga may be next. I also see Invertigo leaving us within the next 5-10 years. 

If it's true that the rest of the parks' Dinos while be phased out due to contracts expiring, then I'm really glad I'm going to Cedar Point in just 4 days! I wanted to go through Dinos last time I was there, but didn't get a chance. Also, really looking forward to Wicked Twister, Rougarou, Valvravn, Maverick and of course Steel Vengeance (if it's open...).

Finally, more on topic, I have/had a giga idea, but my RCT2 disk has a crack in it, so it could be a while until I make a Giga creation (yes, I could draw it up, but it wouldn't be as cool). When Brad mentioned that he wanted to see more designs a couple dozen of pages ago, I immediately thought of calling it Coelecanth (after the song by Deitiphobia) and making it blue and low to the ground(ish). This isn't necessarily what I want for KI, but just an idea (if we're talking KI I'd love to see "Stealth" (now known as Nighthawk at Carowinds) colors or Orange track, lime green supports).

Nice. I have long thought that a coaster could go in that area much like the layout you show.

Yeah I think a giga would look real nice there.

Same. Especially since we have a lot of land left to use that doesn't border the parking lot
