Which coaster in your opinion do you think was the most liked and well received in its inaugural season from The Vortex era on?

Vortex still holds the record for most rides giving in its inaugural season.

I would give that to SOB it's first few seasons. If you are talking longevity I would say FOF.

I think Banshee and Diamondback went over slightly better for their openings than SOB, especially considering the B&M coasters weren't having downtime issues like SOB had.  SOB would be up there along with Firehawk and Flight of Fear.  Top Gun was fair, and bottoming out I'd put Face/Off and IJST. 

My answers were more for the Paramount era.. I guess I didn't state what I was thinking.

My answer is going between Diamondback and Banshee, but leaning more towards Banshee.

Diamondback. Banshee had a very brief amount of downtime on Opening Day while Diamondback was very smooth in operations. Diamondback is also the favorite ride to a lot of people ever since in opened.

Banshee never seems to have that huge line other coasters like FoF and Firehawk do. Really sad, but great because I can ride it as much as I want. I waited 3 and a half hours for it opening day, and wouldn't doubt that my waits since then combined on the other 27 rides wouldn't sum to 3 and a half hours.

I wouldn't call that sad.  Even on busy days I know I can get a ride or two on one of the "top 3" since Banshee is so great at capacity. 

 

The older I get, the less patience I have for lines.  I love the coasters but refuse to wait past 20/30 minutes.

I believe it still gets tons of people. If I'm not mistaken, it just has rather fast dispatches

Banshee does have fast dispatches.  Sometimes too fast, in my opinion
