After getting babysitting coverage for the two younger children they were dropped off at Grandma's on Saturday evening so electricsun, my son Korbin, and myself could get one last visit for the season at KI. The season can not start or end without breakfast at Frisch's with some other KIC members.

 

We arrived at Frisch's at 9AM and meet up with 7 other KIC'ers. After an awesome breakfast we headed towards the park at 10 AM where the gate was already backed up. We got in and were waiting to get in the park for one last time this season.

Here is a look at your two new moderators.. Malem and IndyGuy4KI. 

 

 

Several KIc'ers still had not used their FastPass for renewal, including us. So we got our FastPasses and were off towards Banshee ERT. We then hit Delirium. After that the park was open to the GP, so we dropped by Drop Tower. After that we decided to hit up Flight of Fear before it got busy. Had a great ride on it.

 

Several KIC'ers were together and we decided to ride Dodgems. We had a fun ride on that as well. After a flat ride we were ready for a big ride, so where did we head? Diamondback of course! We meet up with Beatie1980 and her mom. Here is Beastie1980.

 

 

 

Then it was off to The Beast! Fastlane was getting busy at this point. A little bit of a wait. We had fun enjoying each other's company in line though!

 

 

 

 

We then decided to grab a bite to eat at Potato Works! Malem decided to ride the train with Staushua123 and check out Mystic Timbers. The new coaster is the other direction Josh!

Afterwards we had the KIC Meetup in front of the Mystic Timbers fence. 

 

 

We then had a large group for a Bat train takeover.

 

 

 

 

We then decided to do the same thing at The Racer, but we lost some of our group.

 

 

 

We then rode Adventure Express and the Carousel! We put our name in at Reds for a KIC dinner, but there was a wait so we hit up BBOBH for a ride. We then meet several KIC'ers at Reds for dinner. Luckily the rain hit while we ate. When we were done we decided to hit up DB for one more ride.

After the DB ride is was cool and getting to be about 6:15. We needed to get back to Indy for Korbin had school and the other two kids needed picked up as well.

 

All in all we had a great closing day for 2016! Can't wait for Mystic Timbers in 2017!

I was there as well.  I thought the park was pretty crowded durning the day but emptied out around 6:00 after the rain.  We road more rides between 6:00 - 7:30 than we did our first 4 hours in the park.  Great time though!

I got to the park at 6:50 and walked in the gate at 6:55. I had just enough time to ride Vortex and I rode Diamondback three times during ERT.
